The Coalition Against Prop 33
In an election, especially one about a ballot measure, you can tell a lot by the groups that are supporting one side or another. And in the case of this year's Proposition 33, that adage rings true once again.
We've been telling you for months (well really years if you could include the nearly identical Prop 17 we defeated in 2010) that we are adamately opposed to Mercury's deceptive Prop 33. That is old news, but what is new, is the long list of groups that are joining us in our opposition against this bad for consumers ballot measure.
This morning the Consumer Federation of California - one of our partners in the campaign to defeat Proposition 33 - announced the growing list of organizations that have joined our cause, including the California Democratic Party, the California Labor Federation and the California Nurses Association.
The list continues to grow by the day. Want to add your name? Email us at StopProp33@consumerwatchdog.org.
